I can't say enough good things about this place! All of the staff are incredibly welcoming. The hostess was so sweet and I knew we were at a good spot as soon as we spoke with her. Our server was Victor and I highly recommend seating with him! He had great insight of the menu and was very charismatic and attentive. I was debating on several dishes, but he was right to recommend the Lion's Mane cakes. The dish has such a harmonious blend of bright and refreshing flavors, but is also rich and earthy. I love trying new dishes and this was a home run for me! My little sister is a bit of a picky eater, but she loved the gumbo de jour (as did I!). My mom and boyfriend both ordered the shrimp and grits, and every single one of us cleaned our plates. We finished the meal with orders of grasshopper ice cream, bread pudding, and creme brulee, all of which we devoured. My mom was especially impressed by the bread pudding! We also ordered a Boulevardier and Espresso Martini which were so well made. Do keep in mind that the Espresso Martini is on the sweeter side, but the PJ's coffee gives it such a better flavor than you would normally get anywhere else. You need to give it a try! They also carry Fernet Branca, which is awesome. The prices are so reasonable for the quality and artistry of the food here. I'm very grateful that this is where I had my birthday dinner, and I recommend anyone that has the opportunity to try this place out!

This was just incredible. We had the 5-course meal with the wine pairing. Every bite, every morsel of food tasted incredible. From the turtle soup to the bread pudding , every bite tasted like heaven. The waiter Victor was simply incredible. He made us belly laugh all night long. Truly an unforgettable meal and one of the highlights of visiting New Orleans. Highly recommend if your in the area.

Took my wife for a brunch time meal. We started with Mimosas and Whiskey Flight. We had Boudain Balls and Pan Pur du. I probably misspelled those. Sorry. Our server was Dewa and he was a pleasure to talk with.

Went in to try the iconic grasshopper. We were seated right away at the bar and were able to order with ease. The bartender even served us the remaining extra from our drinks. As someone that loves mint and chocolate, this drink was incredible. We loved that they had memorabilia on display from the previous location. While we were only here briefly, it was enjoyable!

One of the great old New Orleans restaurants. I went to their former location many times, but the new location is an improvement. The food, service and atmosphere are all great. Always have a grasshopper after your great meal. It’s the perfect after dinner drink. It was invented at this restaurant. Always a great experience!

We brought a small group to enjoy lunch here and this was well worth the visit. The restaurant and lobby area are classically attractive - and this is also where the bar is located. For our meal, we enjoyed the turtle soup and BBQ shrimp and grits. Both were excellent - but note there are other menu options that are surely as tasty. The service was also on-point, attentive, and well-done. Overall, Tujague's is well worth a meal or two and we look forward to returning in the future.

My favorite NOLA restaurants are the ones that have been here for ages. Tujague’s meets that criteria and then some. It’s been going since 1856 (and therefore is older than my home state of Kansas)! The food is wonderful, beautiful rooms, excellent old-school service and attention to detail. This time we went for brunch. Boudin balls, pain perdu, gumbo, and eggs guichet, with French bread and butter, and chicory coffee. Yum all the way around. Please patronize places like Tujague’s and skip the touristy chains. You won’t regret it.
